GOALS & AIMS **

Ø      To communicate with members by attending events in my area and also being available for clubs at their meetings

Ø      To have the CKC and the Board more aware of not only Regional issues but also National and International developments (communication and liaison is vital for the future of purebred dogs)

Ø      To try to reverse the shrinking entries at shows

Ø      Have the CKC focus more on their original mandate of purebred dogs

Ø      Closely monitor the financial and budgetary areas of CKC

PERSONAL CV **

Ø      In purebred dogs for 45+ years as an Exhibitor, Breeder, All Breed Handler and Judge

Ø      Currently CKC Life Member and Canadian Dog Judges Association Member

Ø      Past member, Golden Retriever Club of Canada

Ø      Past member and President, Irish Setter Club of Canada

Ø      Past member and President, Professional Handlers Association of Canada

Ø      Spent 39 years working for the world’s fourth largest elevator company in positions ranging from Field Mechanic to President of its East Coast operations

                              I believe that my canine and business acumen and experience would stand me in good stead as your Director for Zone 7, Central Ontario .

                               Insofar as I am now retired from business, I feel that I now have the time to devote to the position and to give something back to the fancy.
